Hi. I'm Daniel.

I’ve locked myself in my friend’s bathroom, there are people hanging out and playing Beirut’s “Elephant Gun” on ukuleles which, like, if a stranger said “what are the things in life you depend on” I’d be like “whoa deep question stranger, wish I was as thoughtful as u” but also “oh in response: the dudes from my freshman year floor playing Beirut’s “Elephant Gun” on ukeleles.” I miss the tame mid-00s indie I thought made me cooler than the dudes with the Ed Hardy t-shirts when I was 16 (and yo you have no idea how many ostensible jock-types were wearing ornate Ed Hardy t-shirts in the Roslyn High School class of ‘08). (Also someone’s probably pointed this out before but it’s notable that my iPhone autocorrected ‘indie’ into ‘die.’)
